Helen Schucman talks about the 'Voice' which revealed A Course In Miracles to her

Some books you choose. And some books choose you.

A Course in Miracles found me in 1986—quietly, unmistakably, like a hand on the shoulder from a Presence that already knew my name. I didn’t go looking for it. It arrived as if on assignment. And from that moment forward, the Course became a daily companion, a teacher, a mirror, and a stabilizing force through every storm.

The only days I ever missed were the days my body was recovering from radiation and EMF injuries—four seizures that shook the physical form but never touched the deeper Self. Even then, the Course waited for me like a steady flame, unchanged, unafraid, holding the space until I could return.

In 1986 the book caught my eye. I opened it, read the Introduction, and felt the unmistakable pull of recognition. The Text was finished that year, just in time for the future of Workbook repitition beginning the lessons that would become a road map for my inner life. 40 years later, I'm still here, learning, remembering and returning to the same simple truth:

Nothing real can be threatened
Nothing unreal exists
Herein lies the Peace Of God

I start Lesson 1 every January 1st. It is to me a surf board on the tsunami of life as I travel joyously to God's Promised Land. I've learned, despite the illusion that God is the real money.

This video carries that same frequency of remembrance. It’s a reminder that the journey is not about perfection, but willingness to serve God The Supreme. Not about striving, but softening. Not about fixing the world, but healing the mind that sees it. It's a course on unconditional love.

If you’re new to the Course, welcome.
If you’re returning, welcome home.
If you’ve been walking this path for years, you already know:

The miracle is not an event.
It’s a shift in perception—
a quiet turning toward the Light that has never left us.

May this teaching meet you exactly where you are.
May it lift what feels heavy.
May it remind you that you are guided, protected, and deeply loved.

And may it encourage you, as it has encouraged me for nearly four decades, to keep going—one gentle lesson at a time.

There is nothing to fear.
There is only the way back to Love.
